Congratulations to the 195 students who participated in the 2021 Summer Reading Program!!!
CONANT SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Over the summer please encourage your child to read for the fun and enrichment that reading provides! Reading during the summer is very important in helping children maintain and enhance their academic skills. It is also a great way to relax from the active outdoor summer fun.
Each year, we ask children to keep a list of the books they have read over the summer -- the goal is that our students read as many books as they can over the summer! Children who participate and complete the bingo sheet will receive both a Certificate of Achievement and a Conant key chain. The key chain style is different each year so that children can develop a Conant key chain collection!
The summer reading program has been explained to the children during their weekly visit to the school library. Books read for any other summer reading program such as the Acton Public Library program may be included. Students may also include books that are read to them. Return them to your students new classroom teacher in September. Be sure that your child's name is listed on the form! If for some reason you do not have a reading log, your child may just keep a list of books read over the summer on any piece of paper.
Happy Reading!!
