Family Update

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Summer Reading Program
Each summer, as part of the Conant Summer Reading Program, we ask children to read during the summer break.

Reading during the summer is very important in helping children:
*maintain and enhance their academic skills
*continue to develop critical comprehension, and thinking skills
*and is also a great way to relax

Please encourage your child to read for the fun and enrichment that reading provides!

Students who participate in the Conant Summer Reading Program and who complete the Bingo page will receive both a Certificate of Achievement and a Conant 2021 key chain. The key chain style is different each year so that children can develop a Conant key chain collection! The Bingo page, log sheets, and additional details will be sent home with your student during the last days of school. They may also be downloaded here: K-3 Summer Reading Bingo or Gr 4-6 Summer Reading Bingo.

Mrs Weir (Library Media Specialist) and Mrs. Pastor (Reading Specialist) wish you a happy summer reading.

Abigail C. Dressler
Interim Principal
