In Our Own Voices

Our ABRHS theater students have been thinking about how to connect with students in the younger grades and highlight the diversity within our community. During their voice unit in theater class, one of their assignments was to demonstrate their acting and oratory skills. Ultimately, students decided to read aloud diverse children's picture books and produce audio recordings of them. They have titled this project In Our Own Voices, and each week, we will post a new book to the website for students, educators, and families to enjoy. We are grateful to The Silver Unicorn bookstore owner Paul Swydan for his ongoing partnership with us and his support of literacy learning districtwide at AB.
